Raspberry Rolls

The incredible raspberry scent tinkles your nose straight from the juicy bubbles in the oven, which makes watching your dough bake even more yummy…

Ingredients for the dough:
♥ 4 cup flour
♥ 1 packet of dry yeast
♥ 1/2 tsp salt
♥ 1 cup milk
♥ 1 stick soft butter
♥ 1/2 cup sugar
♥ 1/2 tsp vanilla
♥ 1 egg

Ingredients for the filling:
♥ 10,5 oz frozen, unsweetened raspberries
♥ 1/2 cup sugar

Ingredients for the icing:
♥ powdered sugar
♥ some water

Raspberry Rolls by

Preheat oven to 400 F

  • Sift 1 and 1/4 cups of flour, yeast, a little sugar and about half of the milk then knead until combined and allow to rise for 30 minutes
  • Knead the remaining flour together with the salt, sugar, vanilla sugar and the egg
  • Add the rest of the milk, stir in the softened butter, shape into a dough ball and let it rise another 60 minutes
  • Roll out dough on a very lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch
  • Slightly crush the frozen raspberries, mix with sugar and spread evenly on the dough
  • Roll it up and cut into equal section, place them in a baking pan and let it chill for another 30 minutes
  • Bake for about 20 minutes until they are golden brown and the raspberries are bubbling 😉

Let cool slightly and spread the glaze over raspberry rolls .
